 Sat. Sept. 7 , 2024. How did I find Reiki?  Actually Reiki found me! While I lived in Prescott , Arizona I attended a Reiki attunement ceremony and got my 1 and 2 levels and then recently got my Reiki Master attunements. I have really been doing energy work for longer than I really thought!

I received my massage therapy license in Texas and started to work on clients. Amazingly, when I was working, I would sometimes get information through my hands during a clients session. It could be something physical or on an emotional or spiritual level regarding the client. At first I was a bit scared of this ability, but then, over time I accepted this God given gift and began to know that these feelings and information were real and to use it to help the client I was working on. I would sometimes be silent and just work with the feelings that I would pick up on or if I felt the client be accepting ..I would then give feedback after the massage. I would be able to tell the client what their body was telling me and that I was beaming healing energy and health to their body and maybe some suggestions of how their life and body could improve with the information I retained during the session. 

I feel very blessed to do the work that I do and it is so deeply seated within me I often feel just revel in the bright white light of that healing power. 

I have never really talked about this ability….but here on my energy healing website I am letting some of that knowledge be known to those who might be reading from my blog.

Fri. Sept 27,2024 | wanted to post some info about my experience with Reiki and Equines. As I've said with 28 yrs of massage therapy under my belt... have worked with animals for recovery namely horses and dogs. I want to talk about a Hanovarian I had and the energy work he received from me.

When I first got my gelding I wanted to create not only a bond in the saddle but even more importantly on the ground. I entered his stall the first day and just stood in silence when we were first officially were partners. He was a big boy 16.2 hands- bigger than my other two horses which were 15.2! The same day I also took him in hand and walked the yard letting him smell and getting a feel for him. After a couple of months and having been on his back decided to offer him a soft tissue massage...which he accepted promptly. His head began to drop, his eyes softened and then a slow licking and chewing as he nodded off. I thought to myself ...well, that went really well! Another month passed by and I started to give him another massage but as I started I began to feel energy pull me to his poll and neck..that is when I made a transition and decided to do some Reiki/Energy work on him. WOW! It was awesome! He immediately started to relax and as I placed my hands over his chakras and moved down to his tail I would be pulled back to some areas to re visit with touch and energy. I have to say this was the most profound work I did with him. He intuitively took to the Reiki energy and I was able to do about a 45 min session with him. Towards the end of the 45 minutes he started to look at me and wanted to start to move around- which told me he was ready to end his session. I am an empath and naturally found my gift for doing energy work early on in my massage career. What an amazing way to help a horse in recovery of any kind or to settle them in stressful times.
